Everyone knows the importance of Branding in this industry. One of the more difficult things I’ve come across with owning my own business is keeping up with the fast-paced ebb and flow of the technology world. For Mac users, in particular, it’s a matter of having to be frustratingly ahead of the game and then waiting for the rest of the world to catch up. For example, I used to burn CD’s of my client images to give to them. When I had to upgrade to a new laptop, there was NO CD ROM drive!!!! So, it’s all USB’s now, and apparently Mac is no longer making laptops with those ports either. (You have to purchase an extra adapter to hook up a USB cable.) . For now, I’m sticking with the majority of the world, and have upgraded to some AWESOME USB’s.
The company I decided on using is called “USB Memory Direct“. I must say that above all, their customer service was BY FAR the best I’ve used. Super fast, friendly, and really on the ball. They sent me some drives to check out, and this is my review of them:
So far I’m giving them 2 thumbs up. I chose my own colors, and uploaded my logo and they did the rest. On their website, you can even choose to do custom shapes/designs of USB drives (those looked fun!) Pricing was frustrating to find, as it’s not on their website and you have to request a quote. So bargain shopping isn’t going to happen here. But good things come to those who wait, and getting a personal touch by touching base with a live representative was actually really helpful, so even that turned out to be a plus.
The USB’s came in a sleek package. They were PERFECTLY printed, and easy to use. They slid into the computer port easily and all of them work so far. (I’ve had lots of tog friends order usb’s and a handful of them don’t work when they arrive.) I got the 8GB “SWM Custom Flash Drives” and was able to customize it to my liking.
!Check them out and let me know what you think!
